CherokeeWorks

For employers

Hire from down the road.

CherokeeWorks puts your opening in front of people who already live in Cherokee County — and filters the applications before they hit your inbox.

What you get

A local audience, not a global one

Every listing is tagged to a city in the county, so candidates filter to a commute they'll actually make.

Screened applications

Applications go to the administrator first. Empty submissions and spam never reach you.

A draft-writing assist

Type rough notes about the role and get a structured first draft to edit. It won't invent pay or benefits you didn't mention.

Apply here or on your own site

Collect applications through the board, or link straight out to your existing careers page.

Candidate tracking

Mark applicants reviewed, shortlisted or declined from your dashboard, with the resume one click away.

Listings that expire

Roles come down after 45 days unless you renew, so the board stays honest.

From sign-up to live listing

  1. Create an employer account

Name, email, password. Pick "hire someone" when you sign up.

  2. Add your business once

Business name, city and a contact address. Reviewed once, then reused on every listing.

  3. Write the role

Title, pay, city, description. Use the draft assist if a blank page is the hard part.

  4. Wait for the nod

The administrator reviews it and publishes, or sends it back with a note explaining what to change.
